photos and desktop computer

Of all the social media accounts that we have, one of our favorite posting medium is through Instagram and we have been posting our photographs using our mobile phones since we all know that there would never be any other way that works, but lately solutions started to emerge and guess what???!

The good news is that we have another way to solve the problem in posting to your images through your desktop and laptop whether it's Windows or Mac!

I’ve tried it just not sure what changes they'll make someday, but it worked for me at this time.

And here’s how:

From the Instagram website www.instagram.com, login to your account and right click anywhere on the side of the page and select INSPECT or you can also try to use: Ctrl + Shift + I for PC and Option + Command + I on a Mac.

(see image screen shots below)

Next, it will open up the window panel on the right...

(see image below)

Now on that window on the right, you'll see that the mobile icon on top left is selected (turns blue when its active)

Then, you can go ahead and try to click on the bottom camera on the left window...

It should open up a new window on your screen for you to select Open and upload your image.

Hit 'Next' on the top right of the next window to write your caption and then Share to publish!

Even if you won’t be able to add filters nor edit the image, you can still create a caption and then hit Share on the top right again.

Woolaah!
It's Published!!

You can exit the mobile mode by closing the window and use your Instagram back to normal in the computer.

Note that I have only tried this to work with Google Chrome browser.

This is such a useful post! I don’t like posting on Instagram from my phone because I edit my photos on my laptop. It’s so much easier to upload them directly and not having to transfer them on the phone anymore.

What a great hack! I love it, and I’m saving it. I actually use buffer to schedule my IG posts and that way I can also pre-edit my images and of course upload them directly from my laptop.
